It’s a big bag that’s easy to fill. You head out for one thing and come home with peaches, a loaf of bread, a paperback, and a small handmade something you hadn’t planned on. Somehow there’s always room for one more.
I chose this bag for its handles. There’s nothing worse than a tote that won’t go over your shoulder once you’ve got a coat on. These are 23" long, so they slide on easily over a sweater or a rain jacket and stay put.
The canvas is thick and soft, sturdy without being stiff, and the gusseted bottom gives it real depth. It opens wide and holds more than a flat tote. Every trip softens it a little, and soon it’s the bag you grab without thinking.
The pot on the front is the same mark I press into the bottom of everything I make. On the bag, it’s just easier to see.
