Hold your breath, open your eyes, and look up.
That’s the view here: deep blue all around, and a trail of bubbles rising slowly toward the light. It’s the Pacific on a cold, clear day, or Lake Huron in August when the sun reaches all the way down and the water goes quiet except for your own breath drifting up to the surface.
Each plate was slab-built by hand and finished in layered glazes, and every bubble was dotted on one at a time. Some bloom pale and wide, some hold a little cobalt at the center, and each one catches the light the way bubbles do just before they break the surface.
It’s one of my favorite combinations. The bubbles rise differently on every plate: one dive, four separate moments of looking up.
Sized for dessert, small bites, or a single perfect pastry. Food safe and dishwasher safe, so they can come up for air at every meal.
